John Mize, Executive Vice President, Business Development at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation brings over 20 years of leadership in business development, government marketing and relations, and nonprofit leadership. At the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, Mr. Mize serves on the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for the cultivation and sponsorship of corporate partners, the collaboration with industry around shared research objectives, and the strategy behind innovative revenue concepts. Prior to working at the Foundation, Mr. Mize ran global markets within the life science, medical diagnostic, and medical services industries for several employers. Mr. Mize along with his wife Stephanie are strong advocates for equitable mental health services, veteran related causes, building strong faith communities, and disability related issues. They have served as foster parents for over a decade, and have foster several children with significant mental health challenges. Previously Mr. Mize represented the Autism Society of America during the Combating Autism Reauthorization that was signed into law by President Obama in 2011. Mr. and Mrs. Mize live in Richmond, Virginia along with their four children and two dogs.
